Wow! Has it really been months since my last post? Whew! Time goes by so fast. I will admit that I received offers for freelance video production gigs and I had to take them. Anytime someone wants to pay me Los Angeles rates for the work that I do… I’m likely to jump at it. That’s pretty obvious for my lack of appearance on my own blog! Please accept my apologies for being away from home for so long. I never fell off the internet marketing horse…. i’ve simply had ‘er tied up to a post for a while. Shoot. That was a pun. A lame pun.. but a pun just the same.

So when it comes down to it… when you love what you do.. you never have to work another day in your life. Has anyone ever told you that? How are you doing with it so far? Is your job or profession consuming you.. or are you consumed by it? Hmm. What does that mean? It means that while I was off doing ‘outside’ work… I was not only doing what I love.. I continued to sharpen my skills for my other passion.. internet marketing! It’s part of my vision. My dream. I’m consumed by it. I would rather work 16 hours a day at my lifestyle and passion.. than 8 hours a day at a job! How about you?

Are your plans for success (i’m assuming this.. who really wants or expects to fail?) all about numbers, facts, figures and analysis? Or do you have a real HEART and PASSION for what you do… or are planning to do? Is your plan in alignment with who you really are? How are you different than anyone else? What makes you so special?

Find out what is unique about you and where your true interests lie and then follow that path. Sounds easy? Or hard? To me, that is a path of fulfillment, happiness, freedom, health, wealth and enlightenment. And that makes it ALL worthwhile. If you follow your heart… then obstacles get out of your way. What wouldn’t you do to have the lifestyle you have always dreamed of? The possibilities are endless and your potential is boundless. And by the way.. if your job isn’t your passion.. then spend your off time, sick time, vacation time discovering what IS your passion.

While my internet marketing horse, so to speak, has been tied to a post.. I have been feeding her and taking care of her. Meaning that my mind hasn’t rested and that while doing other things (video gigs) I have consumed large quantities of information on internet marketing and online business development. I’ve read books.. I’ve consulted with mentors and specialists… I’ve read posts and spotted trends. I have insights and epiphanies I’d like to share. So be sure to watch for future posts where I can tell you all about it. And yep.. I’ll soon have more video too. So continuing with the lame metaphor already in progress… “my sword is sharpened and my horse is rested and ready.. so CHARGE!” And away we go!
