“The Never Cold Call Again Online Playbook” by Frank Rumbauskas, Jr.
I recently picked up this book at the suggestion of a friend who said that after reading it.. he ‘saw the light’ and finally had a grasp on how all of the internet moving parts work together. You can read my Amazon review HERE.
So what was I to do? I always have 4-5 books going at once and I’m always open to learning something new that might change my game and bring it to the next level.. and this book DELIVERED!
Sure there was a lot of self serving promotion.. but hey.. who wouldn’t and who doesn’t. Besides.. there’s only so much info about the internet you can fit into a book.. so suggestions to visit this website or that website (Frank’s) is pretty much expected.
Frank’s gross self promotion didn’t bother me in light of the tremendous VALUE I got from this little book. Though looking at the title it might appear to be a publication for beginner’s .. I can tell you it is NOT an ‘Internet for Dummies’ approach. You have to know something about the concepts, technology and techniques he is talking about.. otherwise you’re going to be in the dark and left in the dust.
However, Franks does show you step by step everything you need to know to.. create your Profile and Positioning.. how to Build Buzz.. Generate Highly Targeted and High Value Traffic.. using Blogs, Vodcasts, Social Media and more. And, how to turn that Traffic into Sales.
So.. if you are completely new to internet marketing.. you might find other more accessible material (be sure to Sign Up for my Newsletter ==>) and then pick up this book after you have gotten your (Internet Marketing) bicycle rolling.. ship sailing.. plane off the ground. This book then will prove to be a huge asset as you build your skills and knowledge and are in a position to implement Frank’s tips, tactics and techniques.
PS: For the Pros out there… you know the drill. To make money.. you have to be open to new ideas. Thinking that you ‘know it all’ is dangerous.. and expensive. If this $10 book gives you ONE nugget that adds 5-10-15% to your sales and conversions.. then I’m happy to recieve your Thank You note.. along with a check for my cut.
