Just had a conversation with a good friend and we went back and forth about the benefits of building your networking business Offline and Online… but the one thing we agreed upon is that you have to learn how to talk with people. Afterall.. people don;t do business with companies and comp plans.. they do business with people! So.. even if you are generating leads and contacts with all of your Online efforts.. you still need to pick up the phone at some point and talk to your prospective business partner. And to do so effectively requires decent people and communications skills. How do you get people skills? By working on yourself first.
